Tree Growth Chart

This is the paper I used

Roll it out on the floor or a smooth work surface

Draw a tree trunk and branches 

Use a measuring tape and mark off each foot. 

Make smaller lines to mark off inches in between each foot.

Draw lines on the tree to make it look more like bark.

(You could add the child's name by making it look

 like it's carved into the tree)

Cut out the tree but leave brown space

 in between the branches to attach the leaves to.

 Cut out various different size 

and colours of leaves, or hearts, or flowers

Tape tree to the wall and use double sided tape

 to attach hearts or leaves to the tree

When you're finished use cut out numbers 

or stickers for each foot

This should only take a couple hours unless you have a baby 

or toddler and then it will probably take a lot longer.
